    Richard J. Inzunza

    Richard J. Inzunza, CFA, is a Vice President at The Northern Trust Company, Chicago. He is Senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. Mr. Inzunza rejoined Northern Trust in August 2007 after serving as Senior Fundamental Analyst at Vanderbilt Capital Advisors since April 2007. There he focused on absolute return strategies in bond and derivative markets. From December 2004 to 2007, he was a Senior Fixed Income Research Analyst at Northern Trust, covering high yield and investment grade credits. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Mr. Inzunza was a Senior Analyst in the high yield and distressed markets for Principal Global Investors in London, England. He was also responsible for credits trading in Euro, Sterling and US dollars. Previously, he spent several years in municipal finance and accounting. Mr. Inzunza received his M.B.A. in Finance from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester and a B.S. in Business Administration in Accounting from the California State University at Los Angeles. Mr. Inzunza is a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago and the United Kingdom Society of Investment Professionals.

    Fund Summary 
    The investment seeks a high level of current income. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in lower quality bonds and other fixed-income securities (commonly referred to as "junk bonds"). Lower rated securities tend to offer higher yields than higher rated securities with similar maturities. It may invest a portion of its assets in securities of higher quality. During temporary defensive periods, the fund may invest all of its assets in securities of higher quality. Although the fund primarily invests in the debt obligations of domestic issuers, it may make limited investments in the securities of foreign issuers.
