In addition, it provides advertising services; Audience Management Solution, a suite of products combining big data with predictive analytics to provide TV audience insights and advertising campaign management; and metadata pertaining to music, television, movie, book, video games, and other entertainment content, as well as catalog information on celebrities, awards, sports, and other data. Further, the company provides ACP, an analog video content security solution that protects videocassettes and DVDs to CE manufacturers, motion picture studios, and semiconductor companies that supply the CE manufacturers; and VCR Plus+, connected platform, and media recognition products. Additionally, it offers search services to service providers, device manufacturers, and developers to enable their customers to navigate content; and recommendations services, which allow service providers, device manufacturers, and others to offer their customers entertainment choices. The company was formerly known as Macrovision Solutions Corporation and changed its name to Rovi Corporation in July 2009. Rovi Corporation was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Santa Clara, California.
