Further, the company offers SGI Management Center to manage SGI HPC cluster solutions; SGI Foundation Software, a software suite of support tools and utilities; SGI Performance Suite that enhances performance and provides additional capabilities for developers of technical computing and big data applications; and SGI networking solutions. Additionally, it offers support, remote, installation, customer education, and professional services. Silicon Graphics International Corp. provides its products to scientific, business, and government communities through direct sales force and distributors, system integrators, value-added resellers, original equipment manufacturers, and channel partners. The company was formerly known as Rackable Systems, Inc. and changed its name to Silicon Graphics International Corp. in May 2009. Silicon Graphics International Corp. was incorporated in 2002 and is headquartered in Milpitas, California.
