The SINA.com segment provides online advertising products, such as banner, button, and text-link advertisements; channel and promotional sponsorships; and advertising campaign design and management services. The SINA Mobile segment offers mobile value-added services for users to receive news and information, download ring tones and pictures, and participate in dating and friendship communities through content downloading, news subscription, and mobile games on SMS, MMS, WAP, IVR, CRBT, and KJAVA platforms. The SINA Community segment includes SINA Blog, a platform for Chinese bloggers to read and publish original writings; SINA Podcasting for users to upload, publish, and manage audio-visual information; SINA Album, a photo sharing platform to upload, store, download, and share photos; and SINA Bar, a community-based platform for users to exchange views and share comments on common interest areas. It also provides SINA Notepad, an inner-community messaging tool that allows users to send private messages to other community members; SINA UC, which provides users with audio and video-based instant messaging tools to enable multimedia social experiences; and SINA Group, which builds on existing SINA Community services. In addition, it offers SINA BBS that hosts topic-specific discussion forums in Chinese language; SINA Mail services; SINA Post that allows free posting of advertisements for individual and enterprise users; and SINA Space, a social networking platform. The SINA.net segment provides businesses and government bodies with e-marketing and e-government solutions, including search, corporate email, classified information, e-commerce, and city portals.
