The Wholesale Banking segment offers lending and treasury management services; and investment banking products and services, such as strategic advice, capital raising, and financial risk management. This segment also provides construction, mini-perm, and permanent real estate financing; tailored financing and equity investment solutions; equipment lease financing solutions; and corporate insurance premium financing; and treasury and payment solutions, s well as investment advisory, and other institutional asset management services. The Mortgage Banking segment offers residential mortgage products. SunTrust Bank also provides mortgage banking, asset management, securities brokerage, and capital market services. The company serves individuals and families, businesses, institutions, and governmental agencies through its network of traditional and in-store branches, automated teller machines, Internet, and telephone.
