The company offers highway transportation services in the continental United States; and marine transportation services between Jacksonville, Florida, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Puerto Plata, and the Dominican Republic. The companys shipments to Puerto Rico include furniture, apparel, consumer goods, and raw materials for manufacturing, electronics, apparel, and new and used automobiles; and shipments from Puerto Rico include healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, electronics, shoes, and recyclables. As of December 31, 2008, it operated a fleet of 119 tractors comprising 81 company owned units, and 38 leased and owner operator units; 3,912 53 high cube containers; 3,164 53 chassis; 210 high-cube trailers; and 299 53 vehicle transport modules. The company also operated two 736 triple-deck, roll-on/roll-off ocean-going barges; two 403 triplestack box carriers (TBC); 5 TBCs designed to carry 53 containers; and 77 line haul tractors and 5 day cabs. In addition, it owned 210 dry van trailers; and leased 313 40 chassis and 392 40 high-cube containers. The company was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. |
