Fund Summary 
The fundamental investment objective of the Vertex Enhanced Income Fund is to provide preservation of capital while providing high income by investing primarily in Canadian and United States bonds and debentures. The Vertex Enhanced Income Fund’s secondary objective is to provide capital growth. To achieve its investment objectives, the Vertex Enhanced Income Fund will invest in government bonds in Canada and the United States at the federal, provincial, state and municipal level, as well as corporate securities including high yield and convertible bonds, preferred shares and high dividend yielding equities. The Vertex Enhanced Income Fund will seek opportunities to invest in income securities that we believe are undervalued or mispriced. The Vertex Enhanced Income Fund will not be limited in the type of income securities in which it may invest.
