Otterstrom is a vice president of Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company and Ivy Investment Management Company. He joined Waddell & Reed in May 1987 as a fixed income specialist with emphasis in high yield municipal bonds. He was named portfolio manager of the Waddell & Reed Advisors Municipal High Income Fund in June 2000.

The investment seeks seek as high a current income as is consistent with safety of principal. The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of U.S. government securities, including securities issued by the Treasury and government agencies and mortgage-backed securities also issued by government agencies. It has no limitations on the range of maturities of the debt securities in which it may invest. The fund may invest in Certain U.S. government securities, such as Treasury securities, securities issued by Ginnie Mae, securities issued by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and FHLB.
