| YPF Sociedad Anonima engages in the exploration, development, and production of crude oil, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Argentina. In addition, it participates in 3 power stations with an aggregate installed capacity of 1,622 megawatts; and engages in gas separation and natural gas distribution businesses. As of December 31, 2008, its automotive petroleum products retail distribution network consisted of 1,642 YPF-branded service stations.
