It offers MasterCard and Visa business purpose credit cards that provide approved customers with access, through merchants, banks, checks, electronic fund transfers, and ATMs to unsecured revolving business purpose credit lines. The company was formerly known as TSO Financial Corp. and changed its name to Advanta Corp. in 1988. Advanta Corp. was founded in 1951 and is based in Spring House, Pennsylvania. On November 8, 2009, Advanta Corp along with its affiliates filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under Chapter 11 in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. |
