William F. Quinn Lead Manager since Jun 29, 2004 | | | William F. Quinn previously served as President and CEO of American Beacon since the firm was created in 1986. He serves on the board of American Beacon and as the Executive Vice President of the American Beacon Funds. Mr. Quinn joined American Airlinesâ former subsidiary, Sky Chefs, in 1974 and became Vice President and Controller in 1978. He served as Assistant Treasurer of American Airlines from 1979 to 1986 with responsibility for overseeing and managing the American Airlinesâ short-term cash portfolio and pension funds. Prior to joining American Airlines, Mr. Quinn worked for Arthur Young & Company in New York. He holds a BS from Fordham University and is a New York Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Quinn recently served as Chairman of the Committee for the Investment of Employee Benefit Assets (CIEBA), a nationally recognized organization of large corporate pension funds, and as a member of the Boards of the American Airlines Federal Credit Union and Crescent Real Estate Equities, Inc. In addition, Mr. Quinn serves as Advisory Director of Southern Methodist University Endowment Fund, Director of United Way of Tarrant County, and a member of the advisory boards of various private investment partnerships. |

| The investment seeks inflation protection and income.
The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes) in inflation-indexed debt securities issued by the U.S. Treasury Department and backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. Government. Under normal circumstances, the fund's dollar-weighted average maturity is expected to be between three and twenty years. The Manager allocates the assets of the fund among different sub-advisors. |
