| The investment seeks to achieve current income with a very low degree of share-price fluctuation. The fund invests primarily in fixed and variable rate mortgage-related investments, debt securities issued or guaranteed by the U.S. government and its agencies, asset-backed investments, investment grade corporate debt securities, and money markets. It may use financial contracts for risk management purposes as part of its investment strategies. The fund seeks to maintain a duration less than or similar to that of a 1-Year U.S. Treasury note, but not to exceed that of a 2-Year U.S. Treasury note. |
