BUSINESS SUMMARY 
Columbus McKinnon Corporation designs, manufactures, and markets material handling products and services for commercial and industrial end-user markets in the United States and internationally. The company offers electric and electric wire rope hoists, hand-operated hoists, winches, lever tools, and air-powered balancers and hoists under Budgit, Chester, CM, Coffing, Little Mule, Pfaff, Shaw-Box, and Yale brand names; hoist trolleys; and below-the-hook tooling, clamps, pallet trucks, and textile strapping. It also provides alloy, carbon steel, load, carbon steel welded-link, and kiln chains for use in overhead lifting, pulling, restraining, hoists, load securing, and other non-overhead lifting applications; alloy and carbon steel closed-die forged attachments, including hooks, shackles, hitch pins, and master links for use in chain, wire rope, and textile rigging applications; and carbon steel forged and stamped products, such as loadbinders, logging tools, and other securing devices. In addition, its products include overhead bridge, jib, and gantry cranes under the CES, Abell-Howe, Gaffey, and Washington Equipment brand names; industrial components, such as mechanical and electromechanical actuators; and rotary unions; tire shredders for use in recycling the various components of a tire; lift tables to enhance workplace ergonomics; and light-rail systems that are used at workstations. Columbus McKinnon Corporation was founded in 1875 and is headquartered in Amherst, New York.
