| Cardica, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets proprietary automated anastomotic systems used by surgeons to perform coronary artery bypass surgery. It has a collaboration agreement with Cook Incorporated to develop Patent Foramen Ovale Closure Device that is designed to close holes in the heart from genetic heart defects known as patent foramen ovales.
