In addition, it offers safe deposit services, cash management, direct deposits, notary services, money orders, night depository, travelers checks, cashiers checks, domestic collections, savings bonds, bank drafts, automated teller services, drive-in tellers, banking by mail and Internet, and automated teller machine (ATM) cards. Further, the company provides mutual funds, annuities, bonds, fixed income securities, and other products, as well as commercial checking accounts and loans to correspondent banks. As of May 7, 2009, it had 38 branch banking offices in Osceola, Orange, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Lake, Sumter, Polk, Marion, and Hillsborough counties in central Florida. The company was formerly known as CenterState Banks of Florida, Inc. and changed its name to CenterState Banks, Inc. on June 17, 2009.
