| Diatect International Corporation engages in the development and marketing of non-toxic pesticide products under the Diatect and Results brand names in the United States. Its products include Diatect II Multi-Purpose Insect Control, which is used in the agriculture market, primarily in conjunction with edible growing crops, animal quarters, livestock, and ornamentals; Diatect III Insect Control that is used in commercial, industrial, and government markets, primarily in conjunction with schools, parks, rest stops, roadways, childcare facilities, rest homes, eating establishments, and other public places; and Diatect V, a product for commercial organic food growers, homeowners, and gardeners. The companys products also comprise Results Ant & Insect for the control of ants, aphids, caterpillars, leafhoppers, lice, mites, mosquitoes, ticks, and other insects primarily to the domestic homeowners; Results Fire Ant, which is for the control of fire ants; and Results Indoor that is designed for indoor use under sinks, behind furniture, in air vents, under tile, and in stairwells and basements for the control of roaches, fleas, ants, silverfish, crickets, bedbugs, box elder bugs, and other insects. In addition, Diatect Internationals products include Results Garden & Floral, which is designed for outdoor use by protecting garden plants from various worms, beetles, leafhoppers, stink bugs, squash vine borers, and other insects; and Results Pet Powder that is designed for use on domestic pets. It sells its products to wholesale distributors and retail customers; and directly to the consumer through its Web site, diatect.com. The company was formerly known as San Diego Bancorp. and changed its name to Diatect International Corporation in 1998. The company was founded in 1979 and is based in Heber City, Utah. |
