EnCana Corporation also has interests in integrated oil and gas assets principally consisting of Foster Creek and Christina Lake located in the U.S. and Canada. As of December 31, 2008, it had net proved reserves of approximately 13.7 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and 1.0 billion barrels of crude oil, bitumen, and natural gas liquids. The company also involves in refining crude oil and marketing refined petroleum products. EnCana Corporation serves primarily local distribution companies, industrials, and energy marketing companies. It has a joint venture agreement with ConocoPhillips to engage in integrated oil business in North America. The company was founded in 1971 and is based in Calgary, Canada. |
