| The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund invests in a core group of 15-35 equity securities including common stocks and sponsored ADRs. It invests in growth companies in both established and growing industries that display certain characteristics including a record of consistent earnings power; an earnings growth rate in excess of the Russell 1000 Growth Index, etc. The fund expects to invest more in larger capitalization issuers but may also invest in small or medium-capitalization companies. It intends to buy and hold securities for the long term and seeks to keep moderate portfolio turnover. The fund is nondiversified. |
