| EntreMed, Inc., a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, develops therapeutic candidates primarily for the treatment of cancer and inflammation. The companys clinical development products include ENMD-2076, an Aurora A and angiogenic kinase inhibitor with potent activity against Aurora A and multiple tyrosine kinases linked to cancer and inflammatory diseases; used to treat tumor regression in various xenograft models, such as breast, colon, and leukemia; an activity towards ex vivo-treated human leukemia patient cells; and in Phase I clinical studies to treat solid tumors and multiple myeloma.
