The Advanced Materials segment manufactures elastomer products for a range of commercial aerospace, space, marine, and military applications. It also develops engineered thermal components for commercial aerospace and industrial applications; combustible ordnance and countermeasures for military applications; silicone rubber and other elastomer products, such as clamping devices, thermal fire barrier insulation products, sealing systems, and tubing and coverings; and lightweight metallic insulation systems. The company markets its products through direct internal international sales force, manufacturer representatives, and distributors.
