This segment offers an entertainment magazine and a news magazine and national news, in addition to local news produced by its television stations; airs various shows, including novelas, variety shows, talk shows, news magazines, and reality shows; and childrens program, sports, reality, comedy shows, and movies. The Radio Broadcasting segment engages in the ownership and operation radio stations located in the Hispanic markets in the United States. This segment combines network and local programming with local time slots available for advertising, news, traffic, weather, promotions, and community events. As of December 31, 2008, the company owned and operated 50 primary television stations located primarily in the southwestern United States; and 48 operational radio stations, including 37 FM and 11 AM located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, and Texas.
