| Graphic Packaging Holding Company, together with its subsidiaries, provides paperboard packaging solutions for various products to multinational food, beverage, and other consumer products companies. The company operates in three segments: Paperboard Packaging, Multi-Wall Bag, and Specialty Packaging. The Paperboard Packaging segment produces a range of paperboard grades convertible into folding cartons, which are used primarily to protect products, such as food, detergents, paper products, beverages, and health and beauty aids. This segment also designs, manufactures, and installs packaging machinery related to the assembly of cartons, as well as produces and sells corrugating medium and kraft paper from paperboard mills. The Multi-Wall Bag segment converts kraft and specialty paper into multi-wall bags, consumer bags, and specialty retail bags to ship and protect various industrial and consumer products, including fertilizers, chemicals, concrete, and pet and food products. The Specialty Packaging segment provides flexible packaging, label solutions, laminations, and ink coatings. This segment converts a range of technologically advanced films for use in the food, pharmaceutical, and industrial end markets. This segment offers flexible packaging paper, and metallicized paper labels and heat transfer labels for use in various consumer applications. Graphic Packaging Holding operates in the United States, Central and South America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. The company was formerly known as Graphic Packaging Corporation and changed its name to Graphic Packaging Holding Company in March 2008. Graphic Packaging Holding was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Marietta, Georgia. |
