The investment seeks current income; capital appreciation is a secondary consideration. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in fixed-income securities. It may invest more than 25% in the securities of corporate and governmental issuers located in Canada, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom as well as in the securities of U.S issuers. The fund may also invest up to 10% of assets in emerging countries. It enters into foreign currency transactions. It must invest at least 30% of assets in securities dominated in US dollar. The fund is nondiversified.
