It operates in two segments, Exchange and Direct. The Exchange segment provides performance-based marketing and technology solutions to advertisers and publishers. Through its Inuvo Platform, advertisers drive traffic, obtain leads, and increase conversions through affiliate marketing, search marketing, and lead generation efforts. Inuvo brands include ValidClick, Primary Ads, and MyAP. This segmentÂ’s ValidClick is an open pay-per-lick (PPC) marketplace where clicks are priced based on click fraud technology and Fair Isaac Click Conversion Scoring; and PrimaryAds is a cost-per-action (CPA) affiliate network matching offers from advertisers to traffic and leads through a network of select affiliates. The MyAP is an affiliate tracking and management software solution, which provides merchants the ability to sign up, manage, and track the activities of their affiliates through a scalable branded platform with data transparency. The Direct segment provides lead generation services, and develops and sells direct-to-consumer membership programs. This segmentÂ’s operations include Morex, a life stage, lead generation business that focuses on marketing to expectant mothers and new parents through the Internet at babytobee.com; and Real Estate School Online, Inc. that offers accredited real estate licensing courses, real estate continuing education courses, and real estate exam prep courses online, on CD-ROM, or by correspondence through its ecommerce Web sites. Morex generates leads online and over the phone, and markets those leads to consumer package goods manufacturers and advertisers. The company was formerly known as Kowabunga! Inc. and changed its name to Inuvo, Inc. in July 2009. Inuvo, Inc. is headquartered in Clearwater, Florida. |
