It also offers cosmetics and skin care products under license agreements with brand owners. The company sells fragrance products under trademarks owned by the company or pursuant to license or other agreements with the owners of the Gap, Banana Republic, New York & Company, Brooks Brothers, bebe, and Jordache trademarks. In addition, it offers alternative designer fragrances and personal care products; mass market fragrances under proprietary brand names, as well as a license for the Jordache brand; Aziza line of eye shadow kits, mascara, and pencils for the young teen market; and a line of health and beauty aids under the Intimate and Johnson Parker brands, including shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, and baby oil. The company sells its products to company-owned bebe stores in the United States and Canada, as well as to specialty and department stores, perfumeries, specialty retailers, mass-market retailers, supermarkets, and wholesalers and distributors worldwide. It distributes its products through independent distribution companies, as well as through various duty-free operators, such as airports and airlines, and select vacation destinations. The company was formerly known as Jean Philippe Fragrances, Inc. and changed its name to Inter Parfums, Inc. in July 1999. Inter Parfums, Inc. was founded in 1985 and is headquartered in New York, New York. |
