Its Retail segment provides corporate lending and other services; card loans; life insurance products and services; and Internet securities brokerage services. ORIX Corporations Overseas Business segment involves in leasing, automobile leasing, corporate financial services, and ship and airplane-related operations, as well as engages in principal investment, investments in non-performing loans, real estate-related operations, and provision of mergers and acquisitions advisory services. It primarily operates in the United States, Asia, the Pacific, the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe. The company was formerly known as Orient Leasing Co., Ltd. and changed its name to ORIX Corporation in 1989. ORIX Corporation was founded in 1964 and is based in Tokyo, Japan. |
