The company operates through four segments: Suttle, Transition Networks, Austin Taylor, and JDL Technologies. The Suttle segment manufactures and markets connectors and wiring devices for voice and data communications under the Suttle brand name. This segment also manufactures and markets various residential structured wiring products under the SOHO Access brand name, as well as markets various digital subscriber line filters for the telecommunications market. The Transition Networks segment designs, assembles, and markets media converters, transceivers, network interface cards, Ethernet switches, small form factor pluggable modules, and other connectivity products under the Transition Networks and MiLAN brand names. This segment distributes its products through distributors, resellers, integrators, and original equipment manufacturers. The JDL Technologies segment provides network design, computer infrastructure installations, IT service management, change management, network security, and network operation services. The Austin Taylor segment provides telephony and data networking products to telecommunications companies, distributors, and installers. The company was founded in 1969 and is based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. |
