| LTV Corporation operates as a domestic integrated steel producer. The company serves Steel service centers; Transportation; Electrical, agricultural, and other machinery; and construction markets. In December 2000, LTV and 48 of its subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. It operates the business as debtor-in-possession. |
