| Golden Eagle International, Inc. engages in the exploration, mining, and milling of minerals, primarily gold and copper in Bolivia. The company also involves in contract gold milling operations in the United States. It owns mineral prospects, including the Tipuani-Cangalli prospect covering 12,000 acres in western Bolivia; and the Precambrian Shield covering 42,731 acres in eastern Bolivia. Golden Eagle International also owns gold mills comprising the Gold Bar Mill located in Eureka, Nevada; and the C Zone Mill in Ascension de Guarayos, Bolivia, as well as operates the Jerritt Canyon gold mill located 50 miles north of Elko, Nevada. The company was formerly known as Beneficial Capital Financial Services Corp. and changed its name to Golden Eagle International, Inc. in February 1995. Golden Eagle International was founded in 1988 and is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah. |
