| Targa Resources Partners LP, together with its subsidiaries, engages in gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and selling natural gas. The company also engages in fractionating and selling natural gas liquids (NGLs) and NGL products. It operates in the Fort Worth Basin/Bend Arch in north Texas, the Permian Basin of west Texas, and in southwest Louisiana. The companys North Texas System includes a network of approximately 4,000 miles of pipelines that gather wellhead natural gas for the Chico and Shackelford natural gas processing facilities. Its San Angelo Operating Unit System covers approximately 4,000 square miles in west Texas, including approximately 1,350 miles of pipeline in the Permian Basin of west Texas; and the Mertzon, Sterling, and Conger processing plants in west Texas. The companys the Louisiana Operating Unit System comprises approximately 850 miles of gathering system pipelines, covering approximately 3,800 square miles in southwest Louisiana between Lafayette and Lake Charles, the Gillis and Acadia processing plants, and an intrastate pipeline system.
