The company also offers test and measurement systems for automobile manufacturers and manufacturers of automotive sub-assemblies; radar cross section measurement systems, which transmit microwave signals towards a passive target and measure the energy reflected back towards the transmit source; Radome, a dome-shaped casing placed on the leading edge of a commercial and military aircraft or missile to protect the radar and direction-finding equipment; and custom microwave test and measurement systems. In addition, Orbit/FR provides microwave test and measurement software products; positioner subsystems, such as positioner controllers and power control units, planar scanners, and pylons and model towers; other microwave products consisting of radial power combiners, and antennas, probes, and other microwave accessories; and anechoic foam, a microwave absorbing material.
