In addition, Progenics Pharmaceuticals is conducting a Phase I clinical trial of a human monoclonal antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) designed to selectively target prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA), a protein found on the surface of prostate cancer cells, as well as in blood vessels supplying non-prostatic solid tumors; and various Phase I clinical trials with vaccines designed to treat prostate cancer by stimulating an immune response to PSMA.
