The fund invests assets so that at least 80% of the income it distributes can be exempt from federal regular income tax and personal income tax imposed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and Virginia municipalities. In selecting securities, the advisor considers the future direction of interest rates and the shape of the yield curve, as well as credit quality and sector allocation issues. It is nondiversified. |
