The investment seeks to achieve long-term growth of capital and high current income. The fund invests at least 80% of total assets in income producing common stocks and other equity securities (which may include convertible securities) of companies that are primarily engaged in the U.S. real estate industry. It may invest up to 20% in equity and fixed-income securities of companies which are not principally engaged in the real estate industry or which are not income producing equity securities of companies principally engaged in the U.S. real estate industry.
