The Wireless segment primarily focuses on applications processors. The Other segment offers smaller semiconductor products, which include DLP products that are used to create high-definition images for business and home theater projectors, televisions, and movie projectors; reduced-instruction set computing microprocessors; and application-specific integrated circuits. This segment also provides handheld graphing and scientific calculators, as well as licenses technologies to other electronics companies. Texas Instruments Incorporated serves communications, computing, industrial, consumer electronics, automotive, and education sectors. It has a collaboration agreement with Softkinetic-Optrima to design, develop, and market joint 3D imaging solutions for the television, personal computers, digital signage, health and fitness, industrial, robotics, automotive, and security markets. The company was founded in 1930 and is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. |
