| TS&W/Claymore Tax-Advantaged Balanced Fund is a close ended balanced mutual fund launched by Claymore Securities, Inc. The fund is co-managed by Claymore Advisors, LLC, Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley, LLC, and SMC Fixed Income Management, LP. It invests in the public equity and fixed income markets of the United States. The fund makes its investments in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund seeks to invest in value stocks of companies. It employs a fundamental analysis, with a combination of bottom-up and top-down stock picking approach to create its portfolio.
