The company also offers its products directly to the consumer through its e-commerce Web sites, including urbanoutfitters.com, anthropologie.com, freepeople.com, and urbanoutfitters.co.uk, as well as through its Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, and Free People catalogs. It also operates a wholesale segment that sells and distributes apparel to specialty retailers under the Free People and Leifsdottir brands. As of January 31, 2009, the company operated 142 Urban Outfitters stores, 121 Anthropologie stores, 30 Free People stores, and 1 Terrain garden center in the United States, Canada, and Europe.
