Its products are also used by transportation departments for highway traffic control, bridge and tunnel monitoring, and airport, subway, bus, and seaport security and surveillance; gaming casinos; health care facilities, such as hospitals; and institutions of education, such as schools and universities. Vicon Industries sells its products primarily to installing dealers, system integrators, government entities, and distributors in the U.K., Europe, the Middle East, and the Pacific Rim. The company was founded in 1967 and is based in Hauppauge, New York; with additional offices in Fareham, England; Zaventem, Belgium; and Neumunster, Germany. |
