Electrical Power Systems segment develops and manufactures systems and components that provide power sensing and energy control systems that improve the security, quality, reliability, and availability of electrical power networks for industrial markets, which include the power generation, power distribution, and power conversion industries. Engine Systems segment develops and manufactures systems and components that provide energy control and optimization solutions for the industrial engine markets, which include the power generation, transportation, and process industries. The company sells components as spares or replacements, and provides repair and overhaul services. Woodward Governor sells its products and services directly to its customers, as well as through distributors, dealers, and independent service facilities. The company was founded in 1870 and is headquartered in Fort Collins, Colorado. |
