| Wausau Paper Corp. manufactures, converts, and sells paper and paper products in the United States and internationally. The companys Specialty Products segment produces technical specialty papers, including supercalendered backing papers for high-speed labeling machines; unsaturated masking tape base papers used to produce masking tape; food and industrial papers used as grease-resistant protective barrier papers for food packaging; interleaver papers used in steel processing and to protect polished steel after production; siliconized release papers used in pressure sensitive tapes, labels, and composites; and coating and laminating base papers used in composite construction. It sells its products to manufacturers and converters under the Wausau Paper, EcoSelect, ExperTec, DuraTec, InvenTec, ProGard, ProRedi, ProPly, and ProTec names. Wausau Paper Corp.s Printing & Writing segment manufactures and converts fine printing and writing paper products, including uncoated printing, writing, imaging, text, cover, and board grades for commercial printers, in-plant print shops, quick printers, copy centers, and office supply and mass merchandisers under the Wausau Paper, Astrobrights, Royal, Exact, Professional Series, and Creative Collection names. These papers are used for printed and photocopied documents, such as flyers, annual reports, brochures, announcements, and greeting cards. The companys Towel & Tissue segment produces and sells paper towel and tissue products for the away-from-home market, including washroom roll and folded towels, windshield folded towels, industrial wipers, dairy towels, household roll towels, and various towel, tissue, and soap dispensers, as well as other premium towel and tissue products to paper and sanitary supply distributors under the DublSoft, EcoSoft, OptiCore, Revolution, Dubl-Nature, and Dubl-Tough names.
