Fund Summary

The investment seeks a high level of current income exempt from federal income taxes, consistent with preservation of capital. Under normal market conditions, the fund will invest at least 80% of the value of net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in investment-grade municipal obligations with interest payments exempt from federal taxes. The fund will typically invest in long-term debt securities. The fund will maintain a weighted average maturity of more than ten years.
