The fund invests at least 80% of net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in the common stocks of small companies with market capitalization less than $3 billion (at the time of purchase). It invests primarily in domestically traded U.S. common stocks and U.S. traded equity stocks of foreign companies whose capitalization is less than $3 billion and which the portfolio manager believes are undervalued and has a favorable outlook.
