The investment seeks long-term capital growth.
The fund normally invests at least 40% of its assets in securities of foreign issuers. It may invest in securities of issuers in emerging markets to a significant extent. The fund may invest in securities of well-established companies with large market capitalizations as well as in small, unseasoned companies. Its investment adviser generally defines a large cap company to have a market capitalization in excess of $25 billion and a mid-sized company to have a market capitalization greater than $1 billion, up to $25 billion.
