The investment seeks long-term growth of capital.
The fund invests, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its net assets (plus any borrowings for investment purposes) in securities of small European issuers. The adviser considers an issuer to be a small issuer if it has a market capitalization, at the time of purchase, no larger than the largest capitalized issuer included in the Russell 2000® Index. It may invest up to 35% of its total assets in European issuers located in developing countries. The fund invests primarily in equity securities.
