The index is determined on the basis of capital value of component securities that are publicly held, which typifies a "float adjusted" capitalization index and is a subset of the Morningstar US Market Index. It consists of retail stores, auto & auto parts manufacturers, companies engaged in residential construction, lodging facilities, restaurants and entertainment companies.
