The index is determined on the basis of capital value of component securities that are publicly held, which typifies a "float adjusted" capitalization index and a subset of the Morningstar US Market Index. It consists of companies that provide financial services which includes banks, savings and loans, asset management companies, credit services, investment brokerage firms, and insurance companies.
