The investment seeks a high level of total return.
To pursue its objective, the fund invests principally in a diversified portfolio of dividend paying equity securities of foreign companies of all capitalizations that portfolio management believes are undervalued. Under normal market conditions, it will invest at least 80% of its net assets, plus the amount of any borrowings for investment purposes, in dividend paying securities. The fund also may invest in derivatives for "speculative" purposes to increase its investment return or income.
