The investment seeks investment results that correspond (before fees and expenses) generally to the price and yield performance of the Merrill Lynch California Insured Long-Term Core Municipal Securities index (the "Underlying index"). The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in the securities that comprise the Underlying index and generally expects to so invest at least 90% of assets. It invests up to 20% of assets in certain derivatives, cash and cash equivalents including money market funds, as well as in municipal securities not included in the Underlying index.
