The investment seeks long-term capital growth. The fund normally invests at least 80% of the value of its net assets plus borrowings for investment purposes in emerging market companies. It principally invests in equity securities, including common stock and preferred stock of companies that are economically tied to emerging market countries and in depositary receipts. The fund invests in large, medium and small capitalization companies.
