The investment seeks to provide safety of principal and maximize total return after taking account of federal taxes.
The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in municipal securities. It will invest no more than 25% of its total assets in municipal securities of issuers located in any one state. The fund invests at least 80% of its total assets in municipal securities rated A or better by national rating agencies and comparably rated municipal notes. It may invest more than 25% of its net assets in revenue bonds. The fund may also invest up to 20% of its net assets in fixed-income securities of U.S. issuers.
